What you are buying
Perka supplies digital event software: a browser-based event guide and organiser workspace. The selected package specifies the event types, features and capacity included. You are buying software access, not admission tickets, physical goods, a venue, event production or vendor products. Perka does not collect ticket or vendor-sale money through this checkout.
Buy only if you are at least 18 and authorised to purchase for the event or organisation. Review the selected event, package, capacity and billing option before continuing. Use Back to correct your selection. The final payment authorisation takes place on Payfast.
Price and payment
All charges are in South African rand (ZAR). The displayed package total is the full Perka charge; no shipping charge or additional Perka checkout fee is added. Not VAT registered. No VAT is charged. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion or bank charges.
A once-off purchase applies to one named event edition and does not renew. Annual subscriptions charge the full yearly price upfront and renew yearly until cancelled. Series includes 6, Organiser 12 and Agency 24 published editions per paid subscription year, in any mix of event types. Per-event attendee, vendor, media and duration limits still apply. Payfast shows the payment authorisation and recurring schedule. A once-off purchase does not cancel a subscription. Existing monthly agreements retain their original schedule. Package changes charge the full listed price without automatic pro-rata credit.
Delivery and duration
Delivery is electronic to your Perka organiser account after a verified successful payment notification reaches Perka. Existing events receive the selected package; a purchase for a new event creates a private draft. Access normally updates during the payment-return flow. A bank debit or browser return alone does not confirm delivery. If payment is pending, check Plan & billing and contact us before paying again.
A once-off package covers the selected event edition. Annual places are counted at first publication; drafts are free, and editing or republishing the same edition does not use another place. Unpublishing or deleting an edition does not return its place. Unused places expire at the annual anniversary without rollover. A new occurrence is a new edition. Events must start during the paid term or within its 30-day scheduling grace period and fit the package's live-duration limit. Stopping renewal preserves the paid term and already funded event windows. Plan & billing shows the remaining allowance and paid-access date. Existing monthly agreements keep their recorded access terms. There is no physical shipment.
Cancelling subscription renewal
Sign in with the purchasing account and open Organiser → Plan & billing → Your plan to cancel the subscription. Check that cancellation succeeds. If the control is unavailable or fails, email us promptly with the order reference so we can assist. Cancel before the next scheduled charge; a payment already processing may need separate refund review. Signing out, deleting an app shortcut or cancelling the physical event does not cancel the subscription.
An event postponement, cancellation or lack of use does not automatically undo a delivered software package. Contact Perka to discuss the unused service and any applicable refund rights. Custom setup work or additional services must have their scope, price and delivery date agreed in writing before payment.
Support, complaints and applicable law
Contact legal@joinperka.com for billing, delivery, cancellation, refund or service complaints. Include your account email, event name, order reference, amount, payment date and a brief explanation. Never send a card number, CVV, password or sign-in code. We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and give a refund decision within 10 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays.
The service is operated from South Africa and these purchase terms are governed by South African law. Nothing here removes rights or remedies under applicable consumer, electronic-transactions or data-protection law, or your right to contact your bank about a disputed transaction. No blanket exclusion of refunds or mandatory consumer rights applies.
